Keith,

Thank you so much for this great bed and breakfast. The carriage house is a fantastic place to come back and rest after a long day of tours, eating and enjoying the beautiful city of Savannah. This really was another home to us for these few days and we really appreciate it. We hope to come back and visit the Galloway House Bed and Breakfast and the fine city of Savannah.

Thanks again, Ryan M. and Brian C. Atlanta GA

Keith,

We truly enjoyed our stay in the carriage house of your beautiful bed and breakfast. We were very comfortable and it's quite home like.

Our visit to you city of Savannah was so much fun we hope to get back one day.

Thank you for your hospitality, Ray and Leslie B. Marietta, GA

Thanks for the rescue! The information helped a great deal to enjoy this wonderful place. Your bed and breakfast is great!

James H. - Washington DC

Keith and Jim,

We can not say enough kind things about you bed and breakfast, we had a fabulous time here and will be back! We loved having access to the bikes and getting to explore Savannah, what a special place, we will certainly be back for many more anniversaries!

Love, Brandy and Moose Orlando, FL

P. S. She said YES!!!

(Moose proposed to Brandy while staying at the Galloway House)

Keith, Jim and Tori,

This bed and breakfast is a piece of heaven! We are so glad we are here for our mini-vacation Each of us decided to tell you our favorite parts:

Andi (age 7) - I like the living room.

Perry (age 12) - I really like everything.

You don't get to know our ages but just know we loved the comfy bed, the wonderful shower, the delicious bagels and muffins, etc.

The Kezh Family

Dear Keith / Jim,

Sorry -  a hurried note, but want to thank you so much for the "homey" accommodations so far away from our Seattle home.

You have created a little lush tropical piece of heaven which we have th roughly enjoyed. And we have also loved watch the birds and squirrels romp in your garden.

Give Scooter, Moose and Charlie a good chest rub for us!

Take care, John and Shirley B.

Dear Keith, (Our hero!)

We can't say enough about you, your beautiful home and those beautiful dogs. You have been a spectacular host and we are in love with the house. This was the BEST place to stay and we are already thinking about a return trip. You were so great with suggestions, advice and directions. We are in love with your city. We also felt very comfortable staying with a fellow "Yankee" down here. Please, please look us up when you come to New York and we'll meet you in the city for drinks! Kiss the dogs goodbye for us!

We love you, Barbara G. and Ellen C. - Long Island NY

Keith,

We truly appreciated your "Southern Hospitality" It's wonderful to have a host who is willing to take the time to sit down and just talk.

Your place is much more relaxing, comfortable and surprisingly cost efficient . We will definitely recommend your bed and breakfast to friends and family.

We thank you again, Wes & Sarah - Blount Springs FL

Dear Keith,

I don't want to go home!

It would be impossible to delineate highlights as everything was perfect. The new Jepson Center for the Arts was especially wonderful. The joint ticket they offer with the Telfair and Owens Thomas House saved beau coup bucks.

Thank God for long morning walks up to the Savannah River . The food would have blown me out of my britches other wise - tres yummy!

Hope you let us visit the Galloway House Bed and Breakfast again!

Thanks, Jess and Scott

Brought Spike, our dog, and he loves Savannah and Moose (one of Keith's three Great Danes).

Liked A. J.'s on Tybee and ate lunch at Uncle Bubba's, much easier to get into than Paula Deen's Lady and Sons, food was okay and view was terrific.

Do the ghost tour, even in the rain it was fun!

Best was coming back to this bed and breakfast, a tropical paradise, genial hosts, wonderful bed and plentiful air conditioning!

Had a great time! Linda and Tom C.

WOW! We LOVE Savannah! We consider ourselves "Southerners" but the hospitality and ante bellum southern atmosphere reign true here!

Keith is a gracious and magnanimous host. We enjoyed his affable conversation on the porch and adored his three 'kids' Charlie, Moose and Scooter - the Great Danes.

His home / bed and breakfast is opulent and the plants are an amazing embellishment. We felt like we were staying inside "Southern Living Magazine".

This bed and breakfast was the perfect getaway. Pizza Rustica was phenomenal and we had Kilwin's ice cream EVERY night for desert. Make the trip to Tybee Beach, it was worth it! Don't forget to take the 9pm walking ghost tour with Margarite at the corner of York and Bull. There is so much to do here that we feel we must return!

Thanks and God Bless! Jennifer and Clint, Walton, KY

P. S. Keith, we're glad you ditched NYC!

It is our first visit and our first vacation in the States. We could have picked NY, SF, Miami or LA but thought that here in Savannah was a great start. We thank Keith for his warm and friendly welcome and for this wonderful apartment. We like the green Southern gardens, the friendly people and of course the beach! Our young son Paul (1 year) enjoyed everything! A day at Tybee Beach is a must!

Cheers and warmest regards, Antja, Jan and Paul, Zurich Switzerland

Paul loves your dogs and the squirrels and cardinals who make party in the back yard in the morning.

Thank you for the great bed and breakfast to stay during my vacation! Savannah is a great city and everything was easy to get to. Having a working kitchen was perfect and I hope others enjoy their stay.

The Bonaventure Cemetery is well worth the drive and the Gallery Cafe on Bull St. as great tea, scones and atmosphere. If you walk or ride around the city you do not need to go on a guided tour. Stop by the Jepson Museum for a few modern pieces of art and a relaxing area.

I enjoyed my stay and thank you! Nealy, N. - CA

We thank Keith and Craig's List for the connection that brought us to the Galloway House Bed and Breakfast. This was quite a home for the week... top of our list was the bike riding around Savannah. Such a great town - the squares, beautiful homes, the history, restaurants and of course the boys -  Scooter, Charlie and Moose, Keith's easy smile and conversation!

We have truly experienced "Southern Hospitality"! We felt so comfortable in our "low country" home away from home! Good thing no one else wanted to ride the bikes, loved waving to passers-by from the porch, walking through the garden to our cottage, biking through the squares, meeting SCAD students and chatting with Keith! We hope to return!

Bruce and Jayne K. Cambria, CA

ALSO - Mercer House tour was good! Dinner at the Pink House, lunch at B. Mathews and shopping at Parker's Market.

Dear Keith,

Thank you for making our stay in Savannah wonderful. You have a lovely bed and breakfast! I was our first time visiting the city, but next time we ill make time to sit outside on th porch and relaxing with some drinks in hand.

Parada, our Golden also enjoyed her stay.

Thanks for everything, Guillermo, David and Prada, FL

Dear Keith and Jim,

The bed and breakfast was in a word "wonderful!" It's charm and love is the perfect 'home away from home' to have while visiting this step back in time . Whether is was sitting on the porch, relaxing on the couch, napping to recharge the bones or readinging the sunroom, the Galloway House Bed and Breakfasts is a place we will always remember and recommend.

My wife and I had to get away for a 5th anniversary and her --th birthday and we found the perfect spot to spend it with a true friend like Kevin, in a place like this has been the perfect touch.

To all who come; open your heart and let the house, the dogs, Keith and Jim love on you for a while!

Love, Eric, Missy and Kevin, FL

Dear Keith,

Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful home and bed 'n' breakfast! My family had a wonderful and relaxing visit in Savannah. We all had a great time here, including our dog!

Thanks again for everything,

Lillian H. and Family, Decatur and Stone mountain GA, London, England

Keith -

Thanks you for a great into to Savannah. You have a lovely bed and breakfast, you are a wonderful host and tour guide.

We can't wait to come back.

Patrick and Wesley, Miami, FL

When we found out that Keith was from NYC also we knew we were in for a treat.

Absolutely Fabulous!

We had a lovely time in GA and when we return to Savannah we will stay no where else but here!

Love,

Joe and Jennifer, New York, NY

P. S. Our stay has helped us both understand better why we are in love!

Keith,

We enjoyed our trip to Savannah tremendously! We left with a very positive perception of this city due to the hospitable residents and you are no exception.

We appreciated everything from letting us use your bikes to providing the grill and utensils to use. When Casey and I decide to get away from Chicago again we will definitely visit Savannah's best bed and breakfast again.

Good luck to you,

Carlos & Casey Chicago, IL

Keith, Jim and "The Boys"

The comfort and beauty of our bed and breakfast were surpassed only by the charm and hospitality of our hosts.

Thanks you so much for making us feel so welcome and so much at home. Savannah is a nicer place because you are here.

We all feel strongly that there is a reason that certain people come into our lives, and for me you both were a reminder of the value of having good people in your life.

We're already looking forward to our next trip to Savannah!

Again, our heartfelt thanks!

Mike, Amy, Tom and Deena  - NV, GA & TN

Where to begin... your bed and breakfast, the city, the history, the FOOD and especially The Boys! For us Moms with four legged children they made staying in this beautiful house even more enjoyable! (If that's possible.)

After almost 10 months of planning our trip to Savannah will never be forgotten. For three girls to leave Minnesota ay 32 degrees and arrive to find 85 was pure bliss.

Enjoyed the porch and the garden every morning and every evening. You have given us inspiration for our gardens at home. (If they ever thaw.)

That you for allowing your home to become our home for what now seems like a very fast week!

Mary, Laurie & Elizabeth - MN

Dear Keith!

We had such a wonderful time here in Savannah. The fun we had was surpassed by the feeling of being "home" in this beautiful place, so fitting for a stay in Savannah. We've taken pictures and can't wait to show off to our friends of where we stayed.

Thank you so much for making Aunt Ruth and Martha Ann's first visit to Savannah (and the beach) a memorable one.

Thanks again, Wesley, Shirley, Ruth and Margaret Ann, GA

To Keith and the Boys;

We've enjoyed our stay in your wonderful home. The work you have completed is amazing and we commend you for preserving such a beautiful home.

Hospitality and atmosphere: there is nothing like it!

Don't change a thing and others will walk away feeling as we do.

Thanks again,

Don & Doris, AL  Jan & Rex, TN

Dear Keith...

What a GEM you have created here. The perfect place to stay to experience that famous "Southern Hospitality" and you have provided everything that could possibly define the concept. (I'm actually from New York City)

Your home that you have created here is so beautiful and gracious. And you have ben so charming and "patient". Every touch has been appreciated.

If you ever get to Northern California, get in touch,. We're sure we could find a comfy king-size bed for your "Boys" to lounge on! (I have 3 Great Danes.)

Thanks you so much for everything!

Sharon and Grid, Santa Rosa, CA

Brad & Jackie, Redding, CA

I'm so glad we discovered you. We felt at home in your beautiful abode. The accommodations were everything we needed to feel comfortable. Loved the homey touches.

Always,

Thom and Barbara, Buena Park, CA

Dear Keith,

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful bed and breakfast / home with us. You thought of everything to make our stay enjoyable!

We love Savannah and hate to leave!

Let us know if you get to California!

Sincerely,

Loren and Louise, Anaheim CA

Keith,

We enjoyed our stay here. It was exactly what we were looking for while in Savannah. Cairo (a rescued Doberman) loved it here as well and enjoyed Charlie, Moose and Scooter.

If ever in West Palm look us up!

Best,

Keith, Mike & Cairo, West Palm Beach, FL

Keith,

We had such a relaxed and pleasant stay, your place felt like home, only better!

We'll recommend the Galloway House Bed and Breakfast and its personable host to our friends in Atlanta!

Amanda & Russ, Marietta, GA

Keith,

What a wonderful way to celibate my 47th birthday (again & again) with my children and in such a lovely home. Your hospitality is much appreciated, from the guide books, to the lovely linens, to your willingness to share in conversation with our family.

Thanks so very much for the extras you worked out with Jeanie ahead of time.

Best ever,

Sharon S., Holiday, FL and Rosa S. Bradenton, FL

Dear Keith,

I don't think words can accurately express how wonderful our stay was!

Your bed and breakfast is absolutely beautiful and all of your extra touches make for such a pleasant and comfortable stay. I truly appreciate you taking the time and effort to have some goodies ready for our Mom's birthday! I hope our baby Molly's (4 1/2 pound Toy Poodle) vicious bark and 'large' stature didn't scare your boys (3 Great Danes) too much!

We enjoyed getting to know you and wish you the best of luck with your future renovations. If we find ourselves in Savannah again you will definitely hear for us!

Best wishes,

Bud, Jeanie & Molly H., Anderson, SC

Your place is the perfect Savannah hideaway. A bit off the beaten path and all the comforts of home, private and yet you couldn't be anywhere else but Savannah, such a beautiful, distinctive and eccentric town.

You were so helpful in many ways, Keith. You've done a wonderful job renovating the carriage house. It's just right. The music festival was a blast.

We'll be back for sure!

The English-Smiths, Athens, GA

Keith,

Thanks for having food here when we arrived in Savannah, the flowers in every room was such a thoughtful thing to do.

Jim, Thanks for bringing down candles when the electricity went out in town on Saturday, night, it was so kind of you.

We feel like when we are at home, comfortable, welcome and relaxed. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us. We wanted to come back to Savannah one last time we have had many good memories of Savannah in the past and this will become one of them.

Your kindness will be long remembered,

Ova & Janice H. Lenox, MI

(It's hard to believe but after writing this entry in the guest book they left in the middle of the night without paying!)

Again, what a special time as guests in you gracious Savannah bed and breakfast. A second time is still not enough to explore all the city offers.

Buddy's absence was eased by a visit from Scooter - Thanks so much for sharing your bounty with us, we'll be back!

Love, Pam and Kevin L., TN

I am so glad I stumbled across your place online. What a pleasant surprise! Such nice rooms and spacious, nicely decorated and I love all the modern stuff too.

Thanks for the advice around town, it was fun getting reacquainted with Savannah after 18 years. I will come back before 18 ears has passed next time, I hope. If you're ever in New York look me up, but don't expect me to put you up like this!

Jeff O. New York, NY

Keith, Jim and "The Boys"!

We have wonderful memories of Savannah! Sitting on the porch re-living the days adventures and planning the next. Class 101 in wine de-corking was extremely appreciated. Your ongoing restoration of the house truly makes it a home away from home.

Pictures do not do the "Boys" justice. They each have their own personalities and were truly a joy to have met. What an added bonus!

Rest assured that the Galloway House B'n'B will come highly recommended by us!

The 3 Ladies of Wisconsin, Barb, Jean & Charlotte

Keith, Your house is great and you are a great host! We loved having a large dining room table.

Walking in downtown Savannah was such a treat, seeing all the beautiful homes. I am sure we will be back!

Thanks again,

Jeanne& Chris, Cincinnati, OH

Joan & Buzzy, Stuart, FL

P. S. The roses were a nice touch!

Keith,

Everyone has already said it so well we needn't add more. Your bed and breakfast is great! You are doing everything right! We especially like that there are tons of rules and notes around, being treated like responsible adults, imagine that!

So far, Vic's for lunch & Bella's for dinner were excellent. The tour trolley is a good way to get oriented and you can jump on and off. Also there is an $8.00 parking pass that allows parking in the garages or at meters - a good deal.

At one mile around, Joe was able to get in a six mile run around Forsyth Park.

Today Owens Thomas House, lunch at Wilkes (good southern - worth the wait) tea at 3, Bonaventure Cemetery, lots of walking and pizza from Vinny Van Go Go's.

Wonderful visit, we love Savannah!

Marilyn & Joe, Indianapolis, IN

P. S. Great to have decaf coffee!

Keith,

We are so glad we found your place. We've been to Savannah several times and this house made our stay this time the best. So much better than having one room in a hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed eating in the courtyard of City Market, breakfast at Huey's on the River and lunch at Boar's Head.

The parking lot on Drayton (behind the Holiday Inn Express) at $1.00 Made it easy to come and go as we pleased.

Thanks you for making these wonderful accommodations available and you can be sure we will return!

Keith,

It was everything and more!

The beautiful vacation rental / bed and breakfast, the most gracious host, those awesome dogs, this town and all of it's beauty and rich history. We enjoyed ourselves and hope to make it a tradition for our anniversaries in the future.

It was nice to be close to everything and yet just far enough not to be in the hustle and bustle of the downtown area.

We loved J. Christopher's, the Chart House and Wet Willie's was fun last night!

God Bless You, take care and many thanks!

Until we meet again,

Leanna, & Chris, Benton AR

Nicole & Wes, Benton AR

Dear Keith,

We have completely enjoyed our visit to Savannah and our stay in your lovely home. You are a wonderful host and the house is both beautiful and comfortable.

Thank you for everything,

Robert, Barbara and Babsy, Chicago IL

P. S. Babsy (a Boston Terrier) also enjoyed her visit!

Dear Keith,

I was chastised by my holiday cohorts for not signing your guest book. What kept others from doing so, I can only guess.

I wish to express again what a wonderful host of the first degree you are. Also, I wanted to let you know that we have apparently adopted a new policy which I have dubbed a "tacit bartering system". In the case of our staying at your place, here is how it worked. We managed with the help of our dog's tail and a low and long sleeved reach to break both a large tumbler and a delicate wine glass. In the place of those items, you may have noticed a coffee grinder. This grinder works better than swell. I missed it greatly this morning. It is white and unassuming and I think it will be a welcome addition to your digs.

While feeling quite bad about the glasses and driving around this morning, I noticed that we had also borrowed a coffee cup for the ride home. We intend to be back in town soon and I will drop off the cup then.

Thanks again.

Michelle O.

Dear Keith,

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We were made to so welcome with the flowers and wine. Our family was able to gather to share Christmas with our new grand daughter - a special time in Savannah that we will always remember.

God bless you and your wonderful dogs.

Sincerely,

The Waldrons of West Virginia

Dec. 7th - 10th, 2007

Keith,

My family moved into your home to celebrate my daughters graduation.

We had a spectacular stay. The open house went off without a hitch. Everyone was amazed at the bed and breakfast you have.

Some places you can just walk in and be comfortable, this house is one of those places.

Your home became our home for just a little while.

Thank you,

Peggy

Dear Keith,

What a wonderful bed and breakfast! We all enjoyed our tour of Savannah and the really great restaurants.

We watched the dvd "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". We recognized so many places we'd seen on our tour.

Keith the towels and sheets are the best and are so comfy!

We're glad we had a chance to hear the history of this wonderful home!

Thanks for the Southern Hospitality!

Marilyn, Jean, Cathe and Patti

P. S. The flowers made the added touch.

Keith,

What a splendid guest house. The accommodation and all your special touches made the weekend so memorable.

Thanks to you and Jules for all the help with the Sunday brunch. The house and hospitality made our event very special for us and our friends.

All the best,

Dear Keith,

Kim and I were talking and we want to come back again and would love to stay at your house again. This was my first time to Savannah and your lovely home made it a memorable experience. Take care - Love to Charlie, Moose & Scooter!

Keith,

I wanted to take this time to personally thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful bed and breakfast and home . Our trip was a great success and fun was had by all.
You were a most welcoming host and we did appreciate your attentiveness and help with all our questions and such.
We will definitely be visiting you again sometime in the future.

Thanks,
Jenny J.

Lexington, KY

Keith,

Just a quick note to thank you for your great hospitality and to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at your beautiful house. We especially appreciated the extra effort of the roses and wine for our special anniversary. It meant a lot to us.

Keith, Charlie, Moose & Scooter,

While my sisters and I were saying our tear filled goodbyes we all wished we had just one more long lazy evening to sit on your porch in those big Adirondack chairs with a couple more bottles of good wine. We had three evenings of love and laughter and now have memories to cherish forever! Your hospitality and magnificent home were the perfect backdrop for us to bridge too many years apart. Thank you so much!

Keith

We made it home despite the constant rain from your door to ATL and will mail of your umbrella tomorrow. It was a totally awesome weekend and your bed and breakfast is amazing! Thanks for everything,

Tom & Kevin

Atlanta, GA

Dear Keith,

I have a very serious complaint!

Since we've arrived home Carolyn says she can't sleep a wink because we don't have sheets like the fancy Egyptian cotton ones we had at your house in Savanna.

Her birthday is a week from this Friday and I want to surprise her with a set.

Where can I get some?

Thanks,

Scott H.

Middle Island, NY

P. S. I'll trade ya Carolyn for one of your dogs! Let me know...

Keith & Jim,

Being a number crunchier on our first trip to Savannah we stayed at the Mansion on Forsyth and paid about $3.00 per sq. foot per night for a dark and cramped room. Staying at your house was like a house within a house and 1,700 sq. ft. a a great bargain at $0.11 per sq. foot per night. Okay you don't offer room service but they don't have Waterford vases or THREE goofy Great Danes!

Our love to Scooter, Moose and Charlie!

The Andersons, Tom, Wendy, Maddie and Woody

Dear Keith,

I wanted to thank-you so much for your hospitality when we stayed in your beautiful
bed and breakfast. It was one of the best weekends I have had in a long time and I hope to one day stay there again. I wanted to leave a message on your VRBO space, but I did not see a comment page.
We had a great time and would not change a thing about the whole weekend.
Again thanks. I have some great pic's of the house that I am going to send to you!

Debbie T.

Hey Keith,

I've stayed in plenty of Five Star hotels but I slept better at your bed and breakfast, everything's been great!

See you next summer,

Tom R.

Keith, My granddaughter Ashley said she didn't see a house prettier than yours anywhere in Savannah and the whole family agrees, we hate to leave but our family reunion was the best ever! You're house is great, your dogs are so sweet and you were so nice helping us find our way!

Love to your big gentle giants!
